Charity’s Haven is an organization that provides nursing training, education, and health promotion to diverse learners in person or virtually. As we know, there is a great shortage of healthcare professionals; the impact of COVID-19 greatly increased the need. We intend to provide information about the wonderful opportunities in healthcare in order to increase the number of healthcare professionals and also help promote healthy changes in a diverse population.
Our goal is to offer an opportunity for any minority individual to acquire the knowledge needed to make holistic, healthy changes that will impact life’s outcomes through an academic and educational approach.

Homelessness can affect almost anyone. According to statistics it continues to grow. Charity’s Haven is committed to quarterly distributing meals to the homeless in Richmond County. The family members of this organization donate time and food to ensure this project is a success.
The Charity’s Alumnus Erudition Award is a scholarship to minority graduate in Georgia and Florida that is interested in entering the healthcare field. This scholarship is offered yearly.
